Read to meet the final book requirements for 223/23. I figured this would be a light read, and I was correct. What I did not anticipate, though was how much I'd actually like this and connect to the characters. Pleasant bonus for a last-minute book selection! Love the multiple perspectives, love the many intertwining plot threads, love the complete and total cliche of it all.

I bought this book to take away with me on holiday earlier this year. It's the first book I've read by Kinsella and I'd heard some brilliant things about her and the book, so I couldn't wait to read it. It was the perfect beach read: funny, romantic and full of cheesy drama. However, I didn't LOVE the book. I felt as if at times the story was dragging and some parts were completely unrealistic, but I guess escaping into another world is what you want when you're relaxing on holiday. I usually love this type of story and would definitely read more of Kinsella's book, but this isn't a favourite of mine.

Completely absurd and ridiculous, with all the guys interchangeable and the girls a bit more grown up than her usual characters, if also completely self centered and ridiculous themselves. aka perfect and exactly why i need a sophie kinsella book once a year.

A bit slow getting in, but cute and endearing characters just like all Sophie’s books! A good light hearted read!

Cute story

Meh.

This wasn’t the Sophie Kinsella I have come to know and love. My least favorite work of her’s by far

I thought this book was exactly what I needed for CV times. A sappy unrealistic romance with plenty of twists and turns. Light, easy to listen to. If you need something fun, I'd recommend it.
