Second Chance: this book was an add-on at the time Sins of the Night was published. It is included in the Dark Hunter Companion that I have. This was a quick glance into Ash & his brother Styxx’s relationship. 😭 Heartbreaking!

To think outside your box of happiness, to step in someone's shoes, is hard, let alone that the option doesn't even occur to some people. You build your barriers on your own prejudices and you don't see them for the prison they constitute. Is it a sign of inner strength to create limits for your thougths?

Aww.. I love Ash and Styxx. Reading some of the short stories I missed for a reading challenge.

Read this short story online, although it is in several of the books. It broke my heart a little, for what both of them went through. Not having read Styxx's story I am still more in Ash's court, but a part of me is seeing the potential Styxx has. I hope that these two find peace with each other and find some way to let go of the past and become united as a family.
