Anne of Green Gables has a firm place in my heart as one of my favorite books from childhood. When I saw this graphic novel, I needed to try it. While it definatly is a concise version of the story, it is well done and hits the major points. It is beautifully illustrated and the images really feel like girlhood. I highly recommend to fans of graphic novels or the series in general! A very quick read, can be easily done in an hour!

This is a wonderful graphic novel adaption of Anne’s story, and it’s accompanied by some of the most lovely artwork! The nature illustrations in here are especially well done. I think many readers would enjoy seeing Anne and all her spunk and spirit in this way!
