Will never read again, and likely never anything else by this author. Basically a short very dark LGBTQ 50 shades of gray, all in a bad way. The animal cruelty was not needed.

• It's fine I guess? Not worth the hype I saw for it. Read it if you're interested in it but prepare to be disappointed and uncomfortable seeing the characters fit the 'women are seen as violent and sexual playthings' quota.

This book is written in epistolary form, emails instead of letters. It is dark, with queer references, and elements of body horror and shock. I found the story disturbing to be honest, you do NOT want to meet characters like these in real life.
