Based on all the “omg this is so disgusting and disturbing wtfff” I expected wayyyy more. Like yes it was pretty bad but it’s not that different from other horror I’ve read. Overall I’m kind of disappointed
But the “big thing” that happens was so fucking hysterical and out of pocket I almost want to give it four stars and ignore everything else.
This was, unironically, the funniest reading experience I’ve had this year!

it’s such a fun premise, and so many of the horror elements are ALMOST there for me……unfortunately i think this length was its biggest weakness. i couldn’t care about either of the characters or feel any sort of investment in their relationship, so nothing really paid off. i’ve read internet forum horror stories that understand suspense and pacing better than this story did.
