I have never been intrigued by an author as much as I have by PKD. I am so grateful that this man existed, and that I can experience the joy of reading his novels.

Ubik is a masterpiece. I read it in just a few days, and enjoyed it so much, but I can barely say anything about it. It just left me speechless - even more so than any other PKD book - and gave me that warm feeling inside that accompanies the ending to a great read.

Just read it.

Put on your synthetic ostrich leather jacket and strap in for a mind bending, paranoia inducing dose of intrigue with Philip K Dick. Have you been plagued by boring plots that feel like nothing happens? Ubik will meet all your needs, satisfaction guaranteed! Available in convenient aerosol spray or kidney and liver balm!

Time travel, psychics, Christopher Nolan style thriller, after life, reality-bending horror, and 1960s advertising copy.

A mind bending often amusing satire. On what I’m unsure! Sometimes it seemed a bit random. I suspect Dick wrote it as ideas came to him and went with the flow.
