an interesting read, and i enjoyed the honesty and openness of perkins’ writing. some parts felt unresolved and she never seemed to come to any conclusions, which initially irritated me but i got over it. i did get a bit tired of it by the end - it got a bit repetitive as it stuck so persistently to the main themes which got a bit worn out. dont know if i gained any enlightenment from reading this, although i suppose i may not be the target audience, but it was interesting to read perkins’ perspective, particularly in regard to infidelity.
