Like an intimate conversation with a good friend. It really cuts to the core of some strugles and trauma many of us have felt in the dating world.

this essay collection was very honest, Perkins is definitely not one to flinch away from life's realness!

I appreciate all the chapters that give insight into her path of self realization. I would have liked more smut in to be honest but there’s room for more in future books to come. My favorite line:

“Like a fool, every time I write out my intentions for the new year I list ‘have someone to celebrate Valentine’s Day with‘ and like a fool I forget … I am someone”

Thoroughly enjoyed this memoir. I relate with the author on many levels and found this to be filled with nostalgia and sex positivity.
