My wife and I like to read out loud to each other before bed, beginning with Jonny Sun's book and continuing on this odd journey of internet-based comics with Strange Planet. It really does make you laugh out loud.

I find the little comics delightful but perhaps better consumed as they are published instead of a book since they rely on the same storytelling device and it can feel repetitive. Or don’t do like me and read the whole thing in one go.

Before I read the book, I was familiar with most of these comics since I follow Pyle's Instagram account. They always managed to cheer me up and I reposted many of them. So, even before reading the book, I cast my vote for this book (2020 Choice). I finally got the chance to read it and though I've seen most of them before, I had fun. The new ones (the ones we haven't seen on Instagram) are just as amazing as the ones we all love (I Crave Star Damage, Vibrating Creature and so forth). The art style and the expressions of the Beings are great too. It is suitable for children, young adults and adults. I will probably check out the 2nd book soon.

Very cute and clever graphic novel about what it's like for aliens living like humans. The language took a little bit to get into but it's also hilarious! Would recommend for a fun quick read!
This cheered me up on a super rough day. What more can you ask for?
