I thought this was a great read! Elle Kayson has done it again. I was engrossed in the story of all the characters. The secondary characters stood out just as much as the main ones, and I liked that. Real and Targen have both made it on my 2025 book Bae list for sure. This woman knows how to write a swoon worthy man! I'm supper excited to see if and when her next book will come out (fingers crossed). I absolutely give this book 5 stars! Well written and a good time!

Majority of the book was really well executed for me. Like chapter seven literally had me talking out loud until it all made sense.
I see how Elle Kayson was setting up for future books (and I cant wait to read them) but I think in the effort to do that she cut the main couple's "reunion" short and their epilogue too. To me it just felt like we could have got a bonus epilogue that was just all Real and Love.

Ev was so damn stubborn. Like giiiiiirlA that man tryna love on you TF lol get him and keep him. I wish a rich man did want me like that. Qe all have had raggedy ass men who feel way short of the expectatikns and played innour faces. Thats no reason to not be opemnto love. HOWEVER, i was hollering get that money honey in the beginning cuz intotally get it. If I cant get something real out of yal then show me the MF miney honey okay! Anyways book was full of drama for ya momma. All kinds of activity. Something about a good ass rich, ruthless, forceful, protective man who loves deep is going to do it for me everytime. Every...single...time....
I loved the two relationships developing in the book. It was cute and it immediately made me want to eat Theory and Targens story up and I don't even know of its a thing yet. I know it must be a set up for whats next cuz I wanna get the background on his scar, his wild ass secret mafia family, I wanna know how they take that raggedy ass homeboy, who hurt Theory, out. Yeah I wanna know mooooore!!!
I was so happy to see the turnaround in Aaqil in the end for the sake of family. I hope they get OUT of the harvesting shit and INTO something better. Cant wait to see how they get this money.
Its so many chracters in this book that it kind of felt overwhelming teying to keeo up ao I was Hella thankful the author put a character key in the front. I flipped back a couple times...but overall great read. Would read it again after I read all the other bokks associated with some of characters referenced in this book.

Not this ending on a cliffhanger 😩 Real & Everly: a lot of people say Everly got on their nerves due to her inconsistency but honestly Ev reminded me of how ninjas be moving in real life 😂 It can be annoying but also it’s good to see the roles reversed in a book. Targen & Theory: if this wasn’t insta-love ion know what is, but Targen seen Theory & was immediately ready to know all her secrets & to protect her forever. I can’t wait to see where their story goes because mmhmmmm 🙂↕️
