We've listened to this over the course of the past 9-10 months. Great readings of the stories by Stephen Fry. Only real issue we had with it was fluctuating volume; most of the time we listen to audiobooks we're in the car, so some sections would be inAudible (get it, because we listened through Audible!) while others would be near deafening if we turned it up enough to hear the quieter bits. Not a complaint against either, more a rumination on how annoying and loud road noise can be.

Regardless, the stories are still fantastic and the narration was too.

The stories hold up remarkably well after all these years! Would highly recommend any Sherlock story for a fun, exciting read

Glad I finally read them, as they are classics. I read the 4 novels, not the short stories though. Something to tackle another day!

To me these will always be the greatest short stories ever written. Sherlock is dynamic, messed up, and brilliant but always working to overcome his insecurity of being dumber than his brother Mycroft. Watson is what gives the stories a human dimension and adds to it the flare of an every day person living the life of an adventurer.
