It took several months but I have finally finished all four novels and the 50 plus short stories that are in this collection. It was such a great way to read the Sherlock stories as I could read one, set it aside for a few days, read another one. Always secure in the knowledge that another great story was waiting for me. I'm sad that the stories have come to an end but look forward to rereading them or seeing them in a TV or movie adaptation at some point. While not all the stories are his best work I couldn't help but enjoy almost all of them. The Speckled Band made quite an impression on me as a child and I still find it a wonderfully wicked and creepy story.

A delightful narration. It took a good while to get through all 72 hours but certainly time well spent.
