I really enjoyed a few stories in this collection, and one image of a young girl vandalizing a wall with a single chalk stripe has stayed with me. The Rutu Modan story is typically bleak, but there's a lovely almost-wordless story near the end about letting your partner sleep in while you enjoy the early morning that was my favorite.

the stories by Batia Kolton, Rutu Modan, & Yirmi Pinkus were my favorites. the others were well done, too, though. a lovely collection out of israel!

Pretty underwhelming, but not terrible.
