I have sinned! I forgot to review this book. I don’t know how I missed it! I was on an Emma Scott binge. I think I got a bit obsessed with my Pinboard and forgot my Goodreads and my kindle also completely broke.
Isaac Pierce will forever be Sean Mendes in my head. Strutting his stuff and being the best Hamlet or the best Romeo or the best Marc Anthony in my dreams. I loved. Loved. Loved him. He needed an escape from his everyday life and found his home on the stage.
Willow Holloway needs to find herself and take back the control that was taken from her. My heart hurt for her and then soared when her star began to rise.
As with all Emma’s books it was emotional, it was sweet and it was chock full of feels.

a lil bit dragged out in the starting but still adored it

Wow!
I don't usually read high school romance, I find I'm too old for them, but this was such a pleasant surprise! I adored Willow and Isaac's romance and how cleverly the author wove Hamlet, the play they were performing, into their story. Emma Scott's storytelling and writing style is beauitful and I can't wait to read more by her.

This book was so emotional yet it was so beautiful. It taught me that when I’m alone and I’m in a dark place that eventually there will be light again, I just have to wait. It also taught me that nothing is ever “too late”.
Moderate: Alcoholism, Domestic abuse, Panic attacks/disorders, Physical abuse, Sexual assault, Sexual content, Sexual violence, Grief, Death of parent, Fire/Fire injury, Sexual harassment

Absolutely stunned that this book has so few ratings. Literal perfection.
Ahh such an amazingly touching story by Ms Scott.
I devoured this book, I couldn't Put willow and Isaac down, they just kept speaking to me and pulling me back.
"I feel like I've waited my entire life for You, willow. I can wait a little longer"
this story has some touchy subject matter but it was tastefully written.
if you love Shakespeare then this book has those elements for you.
I volunteered to read a copy of this book

I do not know what to do with myself. This was amazing! Couldn't put it down. Fell in love right from the start. It's emotionally captivating. I loved it!
I know my review is short an sweet, but it's my honest review. I received an ARC.

So I read this cause my 15 yrs old niece liked it. And it was okay, I guess. There were a lot of tropes I didn't like. Some of the charchters behaved in ways I found hard to believe (Maybe its that I'm parent, and this is a teenager POV), I did like some other parts, high school dinamics were a little meh but not too much.
It wasnt boring, but didnt rock my world.
