I am so irritated with this book. It was so poorly done it makes me angry. She ruined the story. I hate it when authors force a certain act on a character that is so against what the character would do. Its the same reason I hated the 5th Harry Potter. Harry would never have acted the way he did in that book and JK Rowling has said if she could redo any book it would that one. This book was like the 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean movie, ruined the entire series. DON'T READ IT!

This book is fantastic. The first two are sort of well-done, but formulaic, post-apocalyptic novels. This is better. The ending is fantastic, and really improves the other two books as well, just by being what it is. Excellent.

SpoilerWhen Tris died, I wanted to cry, but it's a perfect ending to her story, and the way Four handles it is exactly what it is like to see someone you love die. I was very impressed that Roth turned a post-apocalyptic novel into one where human emotions are as important as handling the difficulties of a life after civilization.

Disappointing at the outcome... I loved the first two books.

Ok se nota que a Veronica Roth le gusta bastate la genética y biología, y aunque a mí no es que me encante, disfrute mucho del libro!

Made me cry for like a solid 20 min--bawling---- I didn't see it coming and I hoped it wasn't true bit it was//and idk if the story is better or worse off for it:::just horrible

★x3 | (B+) 86% | AGES 15+ | Now this is where things finally got good.

| Characters - ★x4 | As much as I wanted to dislike Tris’s character, I couldn’t bring myself to because I honestly saw so much of myself in her. But she is incredibly inspiring, and the power of forgiveness really does bring a lot of security and intimacy to this series.

| Storyline - ★x4 | This was much better than the other two. This had the structure of the second one, but the intrigue of the first, so it was a good balance between the two.

| Writing - ★x3 | Pretty much the same, to be quick to the point.

Should you read this? Yes. There’s a certain character in this series who was my least favorite and ended up being my favorite in the end. A good redemption arc also gets me crying. I think if you’ve made it this far, you’ll know that this was a great ending to this series. A little cliche, but it feels like a first of its kind.
