The beginning of the book made me want to keep in reading to find out more about the characters.
Kelly sees her husband cheating on her with her best friend (during the wedding party), she hides his passport and leaves for their honeymoon in Crete alone (good for her).
The first part had a romance feel, but things got complicated after Ryan (the huband) got to the island with Liza (her best friend), and Liza’s husband, Bobby.
There are some twists and secrets revealed, that make you wonder who is lying. We only have Kelly’s POV, and she is constantly wondering if she is being gaslighted. The book is pretty short, with a fast pace (especially in the last part) and a lot of drama.

I read The Neighbour by Gemma Rogers and loved it so I was excited to get this one!
Kelly was supposed to have the perfect wedding and honeymoon. It was – until she discovered her best friend, Liza, with her husband. She escaped to her honeymoon locale alone, only to be joined by Ryan, Liza, and Liza’s husband, Bobby – Ryan’s business partner and best friend.
Whoa – all the twists in this book were great – from the four former friends’ marriages and business to other affairs. Throw in some shady characters following them when they returned home, and it made for a fabulous page-turning thriller. It was well written, entertaining, and a page-turner! I highly recommend it!
