This was a nice little palette cleanser. I enjoyed this book and the mother daughter dynamic reminded me of my own mother and me when I was 17. I wish we could get like Chris or Jenny’s perspective..

My 50th book yay! But this was honestly one of the worst books i’ve ever read. Both of the main characters were unbearable and if I could reach through the book and slap them I would.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly, the flawed characters and the plot, though it was a little predictable.

Morgan is a mother trying to protect her daughter from truths that she thinks will hurt her. She is right, these truths will hurt her but not knowing is hurting just as much. Clara has a truth that she is not sharing and it is hurting her also. The mother/daughter relationship between these two was perfectly portrayed. They are close, they love each other, and they are lashing out on each other because of all of that. Clara pushes the boundaries, Morgan gives her punishments, it just goes around and around.

I love this storyline. There is angst, there is lost, but mostly there is love. The multiple relationships in this book are all unique and all real. The teenage relationship is interesting and very real to life. They find each other, steal kisses, sneak around, and get caught. As a mom, you have to choose your battles and Morgan does a great job of doing just that. Her own relationship is careful and thought out. She considers all who will be affected by her choices in all she does and is an amazingly unselfish mother and friend.

so much of this book was a very annoying miscommunication trope that had me wanting to chuck my kindle against the wall multiple times a day. How did it go on throughout the ENTIRE book??? like just talk?? huh?? the only reason this is 3 and not 2 stars is for Miller bc he’s like my fav love interest ever I really did love him (but even then he’s a little too perfect)

For Colleen Hoover this one felt too happy. I enjoyed the story. I liked how it all came out and came together. Definitely worth a read if you want cheesy romance with a little pain and drama.

I enjoyed this book. It was cheesy at points and the characters were immature, but I understand it was YA.
