medium-paced

Probably my least favorite Colleen Hoover book :( all the plot twists were at the beginning which made it start off interesting, but after the first 1/4 of the book it was pretty much the same - sappy & repetitive. The ending was heartfelt & sweet but the book as a whole wasn’t for me!

This was my second Colleen Hoover book and I adored it. The story was AMAZING and was interesting all the way up to the last page. 10/10 recommend to any hopeless romantic out there.

Clara was the most annoying character I have ever ever EVER read about. she was so annoying I could not delve into the plot.

It was fine, just fine.

Solid dual POV storytelling from a master of the art. I enjoyed the mother-daughter dynamic between Clara and Morgan which felt realistic and honest, as well as both of their romances. The grief storyline throughout the book was also realistic - conflicted, bumpy - all the emotions that come up in the wake of a tragic loss. The side character of Miller's grandpa was someone I was always happy to see reappear in the pages. Solid!

This was such a good one! Kind of felt like a lifetime movie. I really loved these characters!!
