Predictable but fun and a super fast read. While the characters were frustrating at times, there was a reason for them to be. I almost kind of hate how tidy the end is, but it's also that kind of book so I can't really fault Hoover for it. Overall, a great book to read when you're in the mood for an engaging story that will get you out of a slump.

4.5/5 Reread

I love Jonah SO MUCH one of my fave colleen hoover Boys the fucking LOML

Morgan fucking deserves better honestly and also Clara kinda pissed me off yknow. I get she DIDNT know anything, but it still kinda pissed me off. Tho it was half Morgan’s fault for not telling, but I understand why she DIDNT tell her.

Chriss and Jenny. I can hear the song backstabber playing or Traitor by Olivia Rodrigo, even after rereading this book I still feel the backstabbed so hard

Drama. Drama. Drama. I can see why everyone is obsessed with reading Colleen Hoover. While the main characters annoyed the crap out of me, their story seemed relatable in real life. Filled with unexpected love, heartbreak, and above normal family tension. It's an easy read that will quickly draw you in to the lives of Morgan and Clara.

i read this book in one day. i started it today (01.01.23) and finished it today (01.01.23). i couldn't put it down!! i was NOT expecting the plot to twist the way it did in this book, especially so early on, but it twisted and i had to deal with it. i loved miller's character as well as lexie's. this was a great way to start my year because i was super immersed in the plot! i didn't adore the trope, though. equal pining has never really been my thing, but it didn't totally bother me with this book. i found myself liking clara's pov more than morgan's as well, maybe because i'm also a teenager. i was annoyed by clara's obliviousness but i guess i can't blame her. i also felt weird about morgan and jonah's connection at first, but it grew on me eventually.
4.25 stars! my favorite coho book; it definitely did not disappoint!
(also not my favorite genre but colleen wrote it in a way that made me appreciate it)

I feel like the story could’ve been told differently. Something was missing. But, I loved Morgan’s POVs! Clara’s were a bit annoying.
Also, Miller definitely took advantage of Clara that night! Not only the other way around!!
