This couple seems wildly incompatible when you look at them on paper, but for whatever reason they work together.

The ending is a bit abrupt, but I liked these two.

Maybe it's because I'm a big WoW can but I enjoyed all the game speak. I didnt really enjoy the part with Sig but I could see it being realistic. I liked Taylor, but she was VERY naive. Loch had a lot of growing to do.

I really enjoyed this I liked Loch and Taylor. While the whole situation was a little contrived it was fun.

I found myself so frustrated at Taylor being manipulated that way by Sigmund, I wanted to shout at her, but it's such a difficult situation to be in, I've had a friend who was in an abusive relationship with a guy who did that sort of thing and it really was horrendous for her and took her ages to really recognise what was going on then even when she did she still felt trapped (she's out of that now btw) so I can see how Taylor would feel trapped.

Taylor was really fun, I loved all her references to the different nerdoms. I was really happy that all the little details were right (at least from the ones that I'm part of and after checking with my Thor obsessed friend I can confirm that avengers Thor is the better Thor). Taylor just felt like an authentic Nerd which I really liked.

Loch was really sweet, unbelievably nice and I was falling in love with him myself until he did the shitty thing
Spoiler WTF Loch a fake marriage- that's the worst, he was so selfish, I'm glad he recognised it at the end but it made it difficult to like him while he was going forward with that plan

They didn't really have much in common but they enjoyed spending time with each other and both of them are in a stage in their lives where they want to change quite a lot about themselves (Taylor wants to spend more time offline, Loch wants to become more normal) so I can believe in their relationship.

I learned more about computer rpg’s than I ever wanted to know. Taylor’s a cool nerd. She works in tech support remotely so she can be online all day. Loch is from Griffin’s (Billionaire Boys Club series) country. He’s a Baron. He’s also close to being thrust into being king. No one in the royal family wants this, including him.

Gretchen (Billionaire Boys Club series) gets Taylor to show Loch around trying to matchmake again. They spend a great day & night tomorrow, but when the sun comes up Taylor is ready for Loch to go.

Loch pursues Taylor for various reasons (one is rather nefarious.) Taylor has her own problems with an emotional blackmailer so she doesn’t really notice Loch’s intentions until she’s already in love.

I love this series, and Clare's writing, but omg this entry into the Billionaire's series made me want to
claw my eyes out. The "hero" is a helpless prince who can't even pick out his own clothing or shop for himself, and the "heroine" is a hapless klutz who can't keep her sh*t together bc she has been emotionally blackmailed into always having to be online for a game. I just wanted to spend the entire time yelling at them to grow up and be adults.

Loch doesn't want to be king of Bellissime. Hoping that the old adge, "out of sight, out of mind" is true, he decides to hide out in America. New York City - to be exact - and he figured he could hang out with his cousin until the fervor died down. What he didn't plan on was meeting the clumsily beautiful Taylor & finding out that she was his new guide. Or that he couldn't get her out of his head. With things heating up back in Bellissime, he realizes that she would be the perfect person to help resolve things at home. His people didn't want a ruler married to an unsuitable American and he wouldn't mind spending more time with Taylor. Now he just had to get her to say yes...

Oh my GOD this book was such a joy to read! Pardon me while I gush for a few minutes, but it's been a while since I've come across such a fun & quirky character like Taylor. Some of the situations she finds herself in had me in stitches! It was so refreshing to see a character who marches to the beat of her own drum, and makes no excuses for it. (I think I might have a bit of a girl-crush, lol)

Final verdict? You're not going to want to miss out on this story! It's sweet, it's sexy, and it will tug at your heartstrings. I highly recommend it.
