I found that despite desperately trying, I just couldn’t care for either of the main characters. There love story (?) wasn’t believable to me and discovering what Mera was, made absolutely no sense at all to me.

Sorry, it just wasn’t for me.

Whew this book was so good. The plot twists kept me on edge. I couldn’t put it down. The last few chapters had me anxious. Im on to Book 2 and I’m so glad Book 3 is being released on Tuesday.

My first read by Klaus and I realized very early in that it’s far from my last.
Book 1 in a very addictive series, Allure of the Vampire is intricately thought out and masterfully executed with a relatable protagonist who finds herself in a crazy-yet-plausible situation.

Valentine manages to be equally intriguing, dangerous and lovable and the plot grows more brilliantly complex with every scene. Impossible to put down, corruption that escalates incessantly and a painful cliffhanger to round it out all made if for a wild ride that kept my pulse pounding.

I strongly recommend this series.
I can’t stay too much longer to rave about it though because I NEED to get going on book 2 [b:Captive of the Vampire King|56241304|Captive of the Vampire King (Blood Fire Saga, #2)|Bella Klaus|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1607614396l/56241304._SY75_.jpg|87605937] or I might die. ;)
