This was ok. Started to drag a bit. It felt like the storyline of what I thought were the main conflicts never came to fruition. They were introduced but no issues or drama really came from them. Haven't read or listened to any other books in the series even though this was the last.

I have been waiting for Parker’s story for what feels like forever and it was worth the wait. Parker has been through a lot and is still trying to come to terms with terms with the loss and start to move on, but it’s hard when his family is always in his business and can’t help but butt in. That is until he meets Anya and she is a breath of fresh air and life for Parker. When fate brings them together in Vegas, why not get married. Now these two have to fake it for each of their own reasons and get what they want. However, what happens when pretending starts to feel real and figuring out the difference is too hard? This Wild Heart is an emotionally heart breaking journey that will have you balling your eyes out, laughing out loud, and melting over the most swoon worthy moments, your heart will be mended by the end of this book. I love the Wilder TV family and their insane banter and nosiness, you will always want more of this characters. Don’t miss out on a beautiful journey that will steal your heart before you notice it’s gone.

This was my least favorite of the series, but it was still good! Marriage of convenience, secret feelings, secret baby, there was a lot of secrets. Something just felt off or forced, I’m not sure. The beginning was ok, the middle was great, and the end was fine. There are cross overs from other books that I bet are great if you’ve read the other series. Going to miss the Wilders.

Series ranking:
#1 - Forever Starts Tonight
#2 - Head Over Heels
#3 (tie) - One and Only & Promise Me This
#4 - This Wild Heart

i am not usually a fan of the secret baby dropped off on the doorstep trope. in fact, if i had known that was the plot i don't think i would have read it. WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN AN ABSOLUTE SHAME BECAUSE THIS WAS SO GOOD.

i mean HES OBSESSED WITH HER. he's thought about her forever. she just got out of an engagement but it's no secret that Parker is just prime grade A man meat. just stupid hot. so yeah they get drunk married (best decision of both of their lives really) and he's hot....she's hot....it's only natural.

what's inside:
-drunk accidental marriage
-big family dynamics
-fake relationship
-sports romance

cw/tw:
-grief
-descriptive sexual content
-cheating (not MMC or FMC)
emotional lighthearted medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: N/A
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

just yes.

Sorensen blows the heart wide open with characters worth sinking your emotions into. This Wild Heart brings sweet and spicy together to create an addictively, unforgettable romance. Parker and Anya turn, a little bit broken into a journey of strength. Heartache has never felt so enticing. The ever-changing canvas of life is the perfect backdrop for a family that sticks to the soul and a couple that awakens the heart.

I have been torn between really wanting Parker’s story, but also not wanting this series to end. This whole series has been really special. Each book was a rollercoaster of emotions and required me to yell at Karla many times. Now it is time for Parker and Anya and their Vegas wedding story.

Parker is the sibling who we saw the least, and took the death of his father the hardest. He has a lot of emotions that he hasn’t been able to let out but somehow he is able to do that with Anya. When Parker first meets Anya at his sister’s wedding, he is drawn to her but she is engaged to someone else. Fast forward to Anya leaving her fiance and she is in Vegas for a couple days and runs into Parker. They were not expecting to wake up married but they decided it would be easier for their families to believe that they were in a happy relationship. There was a huge surprise that changed everything but them coming together was so beautiful and full of healing. The way they go from pretend to real was seamlessly perfect. Their chemistry was steaming hot. I really enjoyed Parker’s emotional growth and finally getting him to deal with his feelings. What a perfect ending to this amazing series.
