Okay this book is just absolutely great and i really loved it. Even though Jane Austen said she created Emma specifically as a character nobody but herself would like very much i just find her so funny and i could relate to her and her thoughts a lot throughout the book. Even though this book is quite long for my usual standards the time flew by and i found myself reading late into the night because i was just so captivated by Jane Austens storytelling.

The only reason i didn't give it five stars is because of the weird age gap between Emma and her love interest. Like he said he liked her since she was 13 and he was like idk probably 30 or something at that point. Just a little weird but we have to consider it was written 200 years ago and things were probably a little different then

I listened to this book in audiobook form. I found it amazing how the characters were well written and how it explored a lot of their dynamics. I feel that this book is amazing at exploring the concepts of marriage and love and that they aren't the one and only goal people should have. I liked Emma as a character and she was total icon throughout the book. I loved her sassy remarks and how smart she was at times. I'm planning to maybe re-reading the book in written form, but overall I am very satisfied with this read :)

Vážně, vážně krásné. Emma se polepšila a všechno skončilo spoiler>> happyendem! <Nevím, co víc od knížky chtít. Snad leda, že bych chtěla pana Knightleyho domů. ;)
