What a great book.... I really wasn't expecting it... I only picked it up as it had a yellow cover that i needed for a team challenge and wasn't 300+ pages....

I was thinking ok lets read skim this one.. but i fell in love with the characters, i was expecting Gardeners having a sweet romance what i got was a sizzling hot couple As Dani and Jacob Heated up the pages, a school crush (we can all relate too) But one that is so sweet and heartwarming as they grow up... And grow up they do....... It was incredible a great 5 star i will be continuing the colorful covers are just the added bonus now!

This is a great start to a new series. It is funny and steamy and there are a bunch of quirky characters. The floral puns just don't stop. Jacob and Dani (Dandelion) get a second chance at being more than friends even though their families shops are in direct competition. Of course the course of true love never runs smooth and these two have obstacles to overcome before they get their HEA.

I thought this was a quick, cute read. The writing flowed well for the most part, but I had my problems with both of the characters at different times. Dani was quirky, and funny, and I liked her for the most part. There isn't a lot to their relationship besides the sex, in my opinion. They don't talk about things that are going on in their lives with each other. Jacob seemed like a good guy, but this story is Dani's POV until the epilogue, so you don't get to see his motives. I thought what he did was pretty crappy, and although I understand there were circumstances beyond his control, you don't betray the woman you supposedly love. The ending was sweet though, and they get their HEA. There is a little cliffhanger at the end of this story, but it's for Dani's sister Mari.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

This is one of the worst books I have ever read. I would give it minus stars if I could.

There is no positives.

-Writing. The writing is terrible. It doesn't flow and the story itself is trash.
-Dani. She is the female you should never want to be.
-The insta-romance. It was so vapid. There was no build up - like it's been 9 years and after a day they both love each other.

Avoid this book.

I just couldn’t finish this book. The only reason I made it as far as I did is because I liked the narrator. First of all there’s Dani who is so immature and hung up on a guy she hasn’t really known since elementary school. Add to the fact it seems like she can’t go 2 pages without mentioning she’s a virgin. Geez we get it, move on!!!! Then Jacob strolls back into her life like he hasn’t disappeared for like 8 years or ditched her 8 years earlier at prom. No apology, no nothin just hey how’ve you been.
Then she keeps freaking pining after him and telling us all the times she fell in love with him. WHEN SHE WAS IN FREAKING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. You are a 26 (maybe 27, I care so little I can’t remember) year old grown a woman and you are still acting like this man hung the damn moon. So he blows hot and cold, wants her then doesn’t. Over and over and she just keeps going back. The final straw to me stoping this book is she finally confronts him and he point blanks says he’s been staying away because he told himself he would. No explanation, no reason but it’s good enough for her because they jump into bed. Problem solved. Idiots, selfish, immature, idiots. Let me add I’m not a prude in my romance reading but there also comes a point where the sex is no longer about love and affection and it makes it feel crass to me. For me personally there needs to be some emotion behind it. This book had none. It just sounded crass and immature. I flat out hated this book.

Romeo and Juliet-esque set in the flower business. It’s kind of a 2nd chance story.
Dani fell in love with Jacob since he made her a dandelion crown in kindergarten. Over the years, he broke her heart several times in the way that kids often do. The final straw cane when he stood her up for prom. He left Seattle and moved to New York and that was it.
Until he came back to save his parents failing shop. He still flusters Dani but he blows hot and cold.
It is a quick and easy read. If you don’t like full on sexy times, this book might not be for you.
I liked the characters and the story and will read the next book.

The story of a girl whose childhood crush suddenly came back to town from #newyork as his father was ill and came to meet her first, then old memories of him leaving her alone at there prom night came in, and thing start again our protagonist Dandillen fall in love with him again, and Jacob our main lead protagonist always have feelings for her but never said, they fall in love they got intimate , they fight when she misunderstood the Jacobs sitting with school time bully girl Mc Clain. And truth came out , after the intimidating moments between our protagonists things fell not in place as Jacobs was in tension because of his family financial condition and he is here to solve it and run the flower shop there family own. A biggest misunderstanding happen when she find him cheating her design to win a competition to save his father flower place from getting sold later he proposed and our Dandelline family buy there shop and they got in relationship and living it now.
Although plot is flat and author put extra sexual scene at the climax of plot just to make reader engaged.

THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD UNTIL IT FUCK IT UP. I'M SO MAD. WHY????

This book started so good!!!!, and it was so entertaining. It was fast, cute, hot, and funny. And then, the last five chapters fuck it up so bad.
Since the beginning of the book, you kind of assume what the eventual problem is going to be (though I was wishing it wasn't going to be that). And then when the guy fucks up I got so annoyed.
Like, this fucking moron fucks up very badly and kind of implies it Dandelion's fault because she has high standards and I don't know what the fuck more. But the thing is, that she had trust issues because of you and then you go and fuck it up again. You literally prove her point.
I'm glad the moron of the guy tried to fix the issues by telling the truth but still, they solved their problems so fast and immediately fuck as if nothing happened!!! And then all the excuses he said and bitch, do I look like I give a damn? Go choke. He played her throughout the book; hell, he played her even before the book "started", when they were younger. He used her and manipulated her, and it was very gross. Fuck you, Jacob.
And the end? When she decided to help him? Fuck that, I would have been like: go fuck yourself, idc.
I'm so very disappointed because this had SO MUCH POTENTIAL. I was robbed of a great book and now I'm fucking pissed.

As you see I can't write something coherent because I'm fucking mad with the author, the characters, the story, everything. I'm might read the second one, but I'm not sure. If this mess of a plot is what I'm going to find, then no, thank you.
