Maxine decides that she wants a new mother, so she holds interviews at the park, toy store, and zoo. She asks other mothers, "If you were my mother, would you...?" Until finally, she discovers, that the mother she has is the best mother she could have. It's a cute book that kids will enjoy, and so will their mothers.
