This book will forever remain my most favorite of Heidi McLaughlin's stories! I have listened to the audio version numerous times, and can never get enough of Liam, Josie and the many characters whom I've become invested in! This second chance romance is heartwarming, swoony and reminds us all what is possible when we open our hearts to forgive.

Listened to this on a long car ride. Not something I would pick to read or listen to. The characters are annoying, the plot is predictable and it all played out like a lifetime movie with a shitty sex scene at the end.

I really liked this one. While the plot line isnt that original the story itself was good. The characters were strong and who doesn't love a hot rock star with tatts who rides a bike (even if it's a croch rocket).

reminded me of something cassia leo would write!
hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

A chill read but tbh this book could have had a better development bUT nah author después to create a simple plot even tho it had a intriguing theme

The movie was way better.

This is a rare case of me watching the movie before reading the book.  I really liked this story.  I liked Josie and Liam together.  However.  I know why they changed a few plot details for the movie.  It made the movie more compelling than the book.   I also rarely say this, but I think I prefer the movie to the book.

Pleasantly surprised! I watched the movie before I knew there was a book series and I was not expecting the book to be much different. I thought it was really cute and I looveee a small town slow burn and it also helps that he has the famous guy returning home

Have you ever read anything that made you feel like your chest was on a vise grip the entire time? That's how I felt as I was reading it. The whole vibe of the book was like watching your sibling on the cusps of having his heart broken. You knew it was going to happen and you've warned him but he didn't listen. Sigh. But it's okay. Because the only time a person would learn is by going through the heartache that you've tried your best to prevent. Anyway.

This is one of those books that I was, legit, waiting for to read. It's the kind of romance that floats my boat. And while I was wholly vested in the story, I still think that it could've been so much better. I thought it was odd how I wanted the heroine to drop the person she was with in favour of the town's prodigal son and her former sweetheart but when she did, I was still left feeling like something was missing.

The reason why our hero left when he did was a little weak. I mean, in comparison to how he was feeling for the girl he loved would have you thinking that she was his beginning and end or better yet, his infinity. And yet, he still found that he couldn't be with her and decided to pursue his dream. Oh he did say why it never occurred to him to ask but when it comes down to it, she was a part of the problem whether he likes to admit it or not. The truth is, he had a dream, he pursued it. Unfortunately, she wasn't a part of that dream. He realized it when it was too late. Anyway, everyone's entitled to second chances and this...this is what the book is about.

It's correcting a wrong.

It's being man enough to admit that you've made a cluster f*ck of your life.

It's hoping and praying for a second chance - a new lease on life with the person that you knew since day one is the ONE.

Regardless of how I felt toward our hero, the story truly had me by the nose; so much so that I breezed through it in less than two hours. And now, I will patiently wait to read the rest of this series.

...is it out yet? No?...
....how about now?...NOW?
