I’m always so impressed by this author’s imagination!

I'm at a loss for many reasons with this book. I love reading about these characters, BUT dang ransom really put them through it in this book. I'll admit there were a few things that I would've liked to have seen be executed differently and one thing in particular that I'm not a huge fan of. It's something that I've seen a lot of series that have been revived tend to do. I can't really go into detail with that, because it'll end up spoilery. I also had to act like I didn't read the line "he let out a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding," Y'ALL IT'S 2020 LET'S LET IT GO

Even though I do have some critiques for this book, I still absolutely adored it. It still has lots of peculiar heart at it's core, which is the most important part to me.

WOW! I have been enthralled with this series since it first came out, but this is the first time in awhile were I felt like I was reading the first book all over again. This book takes me back to the beginning where I didn't want to put it down. The story was great, and there were so many twists and turns, I couldn't wait to see how it ended up. I am literally counting down the days until the 6th books arrives (although if it truly is the last book, that will be a sad day)!

it was good.
i don't process the end.
i find jacob thoughts while being in love cringy, like, yes, we know that you're a virgin, and you will die that way if you don't use your brain more, stop thinking about how beautiful she is and think about who you should trust.
the disrespect towards emma makes me so mad, she was the main character in the first four books and now that she has given jacob what he needs (be the main character with a love interest) she has no use anymore. jacob die and let emma be the main character, she is way more interesting than you.

I enjoy reading these books. The first book was really good, but somewhere along the way it became more of a business tactic to never have a satisfactory resolution to ensure that you have to read the next book. I decided that I enjoyed reading these books enough to keep reading them. However, I will complain if the last book of the series doesn’t give the satisfactory ending I am hoping for!

Also, I tried to tell those kids not to make some of those decisions, but they wouldn’t listen to me!
