After hating The Fine Print so much that I couldn't finish it, I am really surprised with how much I liked Terms and Conditions.
I think a massive factor in contributing to why I liked this book was Iris.
Iris didn't put up with Declan's attitude. When Declan was a complete jerk, she left on a private jet and gave her work resignation which reinforced how much I liked her. However, she did love Declan and was really soft towards him ❤️. She was everything I wanted from a female main character in this situation.
Declan did scream 'Privileged Jerk' at times which irked me. However, I liked him so much more than Rowan. A factor of why I liked him more, is that I could understand and felt I could tolerate his actions and attitude from the glimpses we got of his background. He didn't fulfill everything I wanted of him but I have to admit, I did like him a lot at times. I loved seeing his soft spot for Iris: it was so cute.
Having Cal in this book made me feel more interested in this book. Can I just say his friendship with Iris was so adorable

I enjoyed this one a lot!
The gradual realization of the depth of his feelings on Declan’s end and Iris’s reluctance to give in because of her past experiences and shitty father – those parts had me enthralled.
Shitty fathers are apparently a theme of sorts with all these characters and I hate to see how broken they are because of the trauma. Someone please suggest the Kane brothers to attend therapy, okay? Maybe even group therapy at some point.
I loved Iris’s family, the little input with Harrison, how absolutely amazing Cal was to Iris as her best friend, how supportive and loving. Zahra, you were lovely, too.
The grand gesture? Damn. That was gold.

This was pretty stupid. A page turner for sure up until they started having sex I’m ngl. Declan sucks & is basically holding Iris hostage. Iris is definitely not written as a Black character despite being described as such. The last 25% was terrible.

I typically love when the MMC falls first but I felt like the yearning wasn’t there. Not for me.
yo le hubiese pegado un charchazo a declan por weon, pero to each their own i guess
tbh there was a certain hot moment in the book where i didn’t even want iris and declan to be together bc he rlly did her dirty. but overall still pretty good!! i liked fine print more, but i also just love everything about lauren asher and her storytelling so i can’t complain much.
First five star book of the year!! I absolutely loved these characters and the banter they have with one another. The ending was great and I loved the growth they showed with each other.
