I really loved Black Ice. I couldn’t put it down. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Completely shocked and amazed. If there was a gif to describe my face, it would be Chris Pratt’s amazed reaction from The Office. The writing is so vivid, so atmospheric and chilling. It is a bit of a slow burn, but there was never a dull moment. I absolutely love the way the story is told. Bits and pieces from the past come together to paint the final picture. There were a lot of plot twists that I honestly did not see coming. I loved the ending so much! I had to reach out to friends to figure out what actually happened. 😂 I highly suggest you read this. It’s creepy, atmospheric, and suspenseful. The perfect winter book and of course, I read it in the middle of summer. 🤷🏼♀️ But really, though. Read this book!
