I'm a huge Black Widow fan, and I have to admit that I love this version of her origin story a lot more than the original one. I can't wait to see more of the new and improve Natasha Romanov in my graphic novels. If, like me, you want to learn more about who Natasha is as a person and how she went from Soviet Super Spy to the Queen Avenger, you definitely need to read this series.

(read as single issues) <3 Nat <3 I so love the character development we got in this arc. especially the use of Liho the cat as a vehicle for character development!!! good job Liho. also Phil Noto's art continues to be spectacular.

They really didn't shy away from having Nat make terrible things while in the Red Room.
Loved the possible future snippet with Matt – it'll never be canon but it's still there.

Really enjoyed this series. Love how Edmondson isn't shy to kill off bad guys and never bring them back - that's something refreshing to see in comics. Sad to see this iteration of Nat's story end with a whimper rather than a bang but it was still good while it was going. Noto's art is beautiful as always (although he can have a little bit of same face syndrome when it comes to his women) and I'm definitely checking out more of Edmondson's work.
