Dude. Surprisingly excellent graphic novel. I mean, it's obviously a graphic novelization of a movie, and once it arrived in my library pull list i ALMOST just put it right back in the drop, but it looked colourful so I kept it. And then it was full of friendship and trying hard and the importance of being fair. This series has my stamp of approval.

I really enjoyed this graphic novel, which was an anthology with the title story being the main event and then several shorter stories following it.

The main story, Tinker Bell and the Pixie Hollow Games, was great fun. (Though I think it should have been called Rosetta and the Pixie Hollow Games.) I really enjoyed seeing Chloe and Ro in the Games and I was very happy when they won. :-)

Of the five shorts that followed the main one, I liked the first two best. "Colorful Excuses" and "A Special Apple" both brought smiles to my face. :-) The other three - "The Brightest of Them All," "A Kind Gesture or a Nutty Gesture," and "Day and Night" - were all cute, too, though. Cheese, the mouse in "Day and Night," was especially adorable. :-)

At the end of the book is an excerpt from Stardoll #1, which I read but didn't fall in love with. The artwork didn't look finished to me (though it was) - it wasn't very crisp - and the story was too not-my-thing.

After finishing these fun tales of the adventures of Tinker Bell and crew, I really need to find and read the other twelve that preceded it and any that follow it. :-)
