3.5 interesting plot turns, but there seriously wasn't nearly enough sex

What an emotional rollercoaster this was!
Some thoughts:
-I’m REALLY tired of Tate. Cat needs to break off all ties with him.
-Rodney is the best! I’ve always been a fan, but he was hilarious in this one.
-Not as much romance between Cat and Bones, but there was still some. I was heartbroken along with Cat though.
-Vlad! Vlad! Vlad! I really hope he keeps showing up.

I don't dislike this series, but it's just sort of there. I mean I like some of the background, but the entire thing feels very rushed. There's no real connection to some of the characters so when some of them die, I just kept thinking who cares. I guess I just didn't get that into it. I like the story and the background, I just didn't like the characters and I felt like there could have been more there.

Kind of a fun, guilty pleasure pleasure book....I like Jeanine Frost's writing style...but I don't really like either Cat or Bones...I wish there were less of this series and more of Vlad but since there aren't, I will probably read these every now and again when the mood strikes.
