I put off reading this for a long time because I loved World War Z so much that I thought this could only disappoint me. I was so wrong. I love this just as much. More in some ways. Already ready to read it again.

3.5 stars. The first half of the book is a little slow, but has some interesting Sasquatch/primate theories sprinkled throughout. I also hated most of the characters until they were in danger, but then quite a few of them became likable. Once the book picked up it was really fun monster/survival horror.

3.5 This was such a fun read! Loved the first half and the suspense building, but somehow when it got to the action I got a little disengaged. I always love cryptids in horror though, so I was so happy to see more of it!
