Very fun and good. Jurassic Park or Congo for the Crichton crowd, just… sasquatches.

The audiobook was very entertaining!

I won an advanced copy of this book through a goodreads giveaway.

An easy read that kept me intrigued all the way through. I really liked the parallel questioning instincts in humans versus bigfoot. But I did feel like I wanted a little more character development. I thought the stories of other animal encounters were nice touches and wondered how many were fact or fiction.

This was a really fun fall read. Not my usual genre but tame enough to pique my interest during spooky season. The journal and interview style of writing made the story easy to jump into and hard to put down - and it’s read by a full cast on audio!

Audiobook cast was great, but I don’t like the “found journal” premise.

This is one hell of a great horror novel. I loved reading this. A perfect, scary read for 2020. Max Brooks has, in the found letter tradition of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula,” written an immensely readable story of a group of people who move to an isolated forest community near Mt Rainer and find disaster, what society means and the mythological (or are they?) Sasquatch.
