i really liked to know ringer better, she is a character so full of pain its really interesting.
i just wonder, how are the other ones going to survive when they are all really wounded and arent humans 2.0 like ringer?
guess i'll have to wait eons to find out in the third book :'(

This book feels like it was written by a completely different author than the first book. Tried to hard to be poetic & “deep”. Ended up being very confusing for no real outcome. I’ll still read the last star, the final book in the series, only in the hopes that it will resemble the first book of the trilogy more.
Flew through this. Just as well-writen and action packed as the 5th Wave, but so. frustrating. We get a teeny tiny glimmer of an answer as to what is going on but, like a lot of sequels, the Infinite Sea is really a vehicle to set up the final book in the series (which I guess I'm assuming is a trilogy). And now to wait another year...
I didn't like this book nearly as much as the first one in the series. I just felt like overall, not much happened in the plot. There was a lot of character development though. This book is super short compared to the first one as well. I feel like the author felt rushed to finish this book.

Hmmm. I liked this better than the first one, but I don't think I got it. I'm still super confused as to the point of the aliens. Aliens? People? I don't know. Obviously I need to get the third book. Three point five stars, it wasn't THAT great, but it was pretty decent.
It's been a long time since I've read a novel in one day - because I couldn't put it down, not because I had an assignment due. This series is so worth it! And it's bittersweet that I only have one installment left...
It was a little too much of nothing happening. I know that it is just the set up for book 3, but I have lost interest and will not finish the series.
