A relaxing light read that often feels like it doesn't know what to do with itself. There's a certain appeal to this story, even though it is arguably bland and boring. It can be the kind of book you read to soothe your nerves and let your guard down. But there are so many scenes here that feel unnecessary and didn't really contribute to the plot.

This was a super wholesome story about growing up, and rediscovering your place in the world. 🥺🩷 All of the characters (except for the mean girls, I guess) were super cute and sweet, and it was just good vibes all around!
The way it was formatted (BIG margins and quite a big-sized font lol) made it a super quick and easy read, and the amount of namedropped fandoms and nerd-things like Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Star Trek felt a little like reading a wattpad fanfic from 2012 lol (the THREE (3) instances of "I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding" didn't really help beating the wattpad vibe hsjsjjd)
It gave off major Julie and the Phantoms-vibes and it was just a very cozy read! 🥰🩷

This book was about learning to let go of what's holding you back. We accepting that as we grow up, we grow apart from things and people and that it's okay to let go and move on. I loved all the characters and the story was well written.

This story was amazing! I absolutely loved everything about it. it was truly a love story with a ghost in it, that helped me feel a little more at ease and accept closure regarding death I have encountered in my life. The story was so well written - funny, clever, swoon worthy, and filled with a variety of pop culture references to satisfy everyone’s needs. I loved all of the characters, they were all amazing (except Delia). It has been awhile since I’ve had a book make me feel so happy to have read it but also sad that it’s over. I’ve been having a few hard days lately, and this story was definitely what I needed to cheer me up. This is my second book by Robyn Schneider- the first was Extraordinary Means which was also really good. This will definitely not be my last book by her. She is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait for Robyn’s next book! Looking forward to whatever she writes next!!!
