I've loved all of the singing hills cycle books so far, I love these littles snippets into the world and how histories are passed on and they're all just so well done, this one included. Definitely books I want to have copies of to loan to other people.

I unfortunately really didn’t like this one… I liked the format of the previous two where it was like 85-90% one tale and then the rest was what was currently happening with Chih. I didn’t like the kind of scattered focus of this one with more time spent in the present and a lot of action. It just didn’t really do anything for me and it ended super abruptly. I feel like I wasn’t given reason to care about any of the characters or stories.
