dark mysterious tense fast-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Strong character development? It's complicated

It's been too long since I read the first one, so it took me a little while to get back into the story. But I remember why I enjoyed the first one. This town is royally messed up. Hoping to continue this series sooner, rather than later.

2.5/5 Not my favorite. A lot of one-off stories that didn't further the plot. Interesting to see different people in the town, but that's generally not what I'm looking for when I read Nailbiter. Hope the rest of the series avoids pulling stunts like this.

This was a let down from the superb vol. 1. This one felt like it was a lot of set-up for the continuing story. The art and writing remain excellent
