This story and these characters are so lovable but the thing I love most is how mental health is discussed and handled throughout the story. The representation in the book is incredible, not just the LGBT rep but also culture, class, and mental health is diversely represented. These characters are so relatable, nothing about the story feels forced to work through a plot. I genuinely felt like I was seeing a snapshot of Charlie and Dev’s real life. Now if we could just get a perfectly casted made-for-tv movie, my life would be complete!

This book is so beautifully written. The way it approaches topics of sexuality, self-discovery, and mental health is perfect. The side plot of daphne dealing with comphet and coming out as lesbian was beautiful. Both Dev and Charlie are so relatable. Their struggles to let each other in and to feel deserving of love was so heart-wrenching. The way the ending wrapped was a little bit cheesy for me, which is why it's not 5 stars, but overall, this book exceeded all my expectations. I absolutely devoured it in like 2 days.

This book is wonderful, amazing, and full of honest emotions, raw feelings, happiness, sadness, love, friendship and amazing relationships between lovable characters.
The whole cast is so gorgeous, inside and outside, the characters are fully fleshed, well developed and each has a distinctive personality.
I loved how the story unfolded, how the characters discover who they are, who their friends are and what they want their relationship to be.
The rep in this story is so well done, characters are from all types of different backgrounds and are all different sexualities, and the asexual spectrum was explored very beautifully and gracefully by the author. The mental health was also very well researched.
I absolutely love this book it deserves more than 5 stars, it deserves the world, and it deserves to be read by so many more people and enjoyed by everyone ready to read a love story full of raw emotions, full of humanity, and very real.
I could go on and on for ages, but I think it best to pick up this book and read it.
Or re-read it !!

I was giggling kicking my feet the whole time I read this. I would die for Charlie, I wanted to give Dev a hug. This whole book is so sweet, and I absolutely devoured it. The characters are all SO good, very well fleshed out and understandable. I love to see queer people gravitate towards each other, and in spite of all their flaws, this friend group made my bisexual heart happy. Third act breakups are never my favorite part of a book, but I could totally get the reasoning behind it
because societal pressure is brutal and so is depression.
Anyway I’ll be thinking about these two idiots for a long time.
