A church camping trip turns into a hellish nightmare when a monstrous spider appears.
The characters, and story, are flat. Look elsewhere for depth, chances, or anything other than a cookie-cutter monster story. It's obvious from the beginning who the survivors will be. None of the characters grow, change, or develop in any way.
There are a few fun scenes, and the book is written very cinematic. These help make it an easy read. But exactly what you think will happen, happens every time.
I don't expect to go back to these authors again.
