A fantastic love story with a little taste of magic. Gwen and Gidion will take you and their love to the past and will show everyone how to fall in love at first sight.
A creative story.
A lot of well writen characters.
And so on.

I started this book in the train and had to stop reading, because I was scared it would be finished before reaching my destination! It's a very nice book, with nice characters and a nice story-line. I do like those kind of mysteries that are only showing themselves slowly, mixed up with love and a good sense of humour. The book is well-written in an easy readable style. I like the action and speed of the book and I do like the fact that it really is a trilogy. I can't wait to start the second book, because it still feels like one story and I want to know what will happen!!

This was a really fun reread. This series was my favorite as a kid and I read them over and over again and now I decided to read them again as an adult and noticed some plot holes (like since Gwendolyn traveled to the past and met the time travelers there, why did no one take notes? How could they think Charlotte was the one with the time traveling gene when Gwendolyn visited the Lord of Saint Germain and her grandfather in the past?). Also, I now find it quite funny how this whole book takes place in the span of just a couple of days anf the whole series takes place during one week but I never thought about that as a child. This series will always have a special place in my heart and I love the characters but I can now see that it has some flaws.
