Ich finde, Gwendolyn ist eine der besseren weiblichen Figuren, die ich letztens die Vergnügung zu lesen hatte. Sie ist manchmal naiv und sie selber schätzt sich als ängstlich, aber kann sehr prompt und mutig reagieren, wenn die Situation es nötig hat. Sie ist auch selbstbewusst und temperamentvoll. Es ist erstaunlich wie geduldig sie alles was ihr passiert (von Zeitreisen bis Verdächtigungen von Verrat und die Heimlichtuerei der Geheimlogemitglieder) gegenüberstellt.

Okay I'm going to be honest, I had low expectations for this book simply because I was underwhelmed by her other book. However, OMG. Sometimes about it was just so right. Like the dialogue, friends, the time travel. So delicious, and I'm so annoyed that I can't get the next one from the library yet. However, it does feel weird putting this as 5/5 stars because it's definitely not on the same level as other books Ive read but Im not picky and I enjoyed it in this moment so YIPPEE.
you know that one book, you start it. Read like 10 pages and just know in your blood and bones that you’d let this book destroy your whole life?

This book was everything I expected and not expected at the same time but in a good way.

Gideon is the only character I didn’t like? I'm sorry. I know everybody loves him but he is just too full of himself and even though Gwen was so nice to him at first he had to say things like "all the girls are same".
Lol, i lost count how many times I wanted slap his arrogant face. But the ending was promising. Maybe I'll see another side of him? I refuse to hate him for the rest of the series when the first book is already one of my favourite.
By the way, did I mention I LOVED this book?

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting and I liked the time travel aspect as well. The plot is mysterious enough to keep me wanting to know more znd I am loking forward to the rest if the triolgy
