honestly, only 3 things happened throughout the book
i wasnt bored, i read it in a day but only because i had time. it really isn't interesting, i was expecting a lot more from the same author as Shatter Me

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first started. I was intrigued but a little lost in the world building at first then by the time I was sucked in, I was halfway through it. I think this is my first forbidden lovers series and I’m allll for it. I wasn’t sure if I was going to continue the series but once I hit the 3/4 mark, there was no turning back. I am committed.

Fucking great book, but I am so mad right now. I will be purchasing the sequel first thing tomorrow!

Did see a few things coming like Cyrus being the king and the devil their common friend, but the general plot definitely had me hooked and no idea where it would take me. -or I should say many ideas and none of them correct! Brilliant!
I do think that the two men one woman -who will she choose is a bit annoying, but written well enough. I will wait in fear.
Kamran for the win ✊😤

Omfg you guys weren’t lying when you said tahereh put her tahussy into this. My only problem was that it took a little while for alizeh and Kamran to interact properly and when they did things went a bit too quickly and intense between them. Like I wish they had more in depth interactions before things got heated. And omg reading the ending I was like where tf is this going??? and then when it ended I was amazed and shook. Despite being a little confused where the ending was heading initially I loved that chaotic ending so much. I loved the shatter me series but this was so much better, mafi’s writing has really improved

why.

this books is full of clichés, everything too predictable- OH she's the chosen one? i did not see it coming at all, such a surprise...

alizeh is obviously gay and i do not understand how she fell for kamran after the two times she spoke to him, it's ridiculous

kamran is boring, at some point i stopped reading his chapters and speedread the whole thing, tbh

points for the dragon, miss huda and the persian mythology theme
