Well I wasn’t planning on crying over a fictional octopus this weekend but here we are

This story was so beautiful. I loved the connections between everyone, and seeing the growth each of the characters goes through.

Marcellus is everything 10/10 recommend listening on audio specifically for him

I don’t listen to a lot of audiobooks, but this has been on my tbr pile for a while and when I saw it available through my library, I thought why not?

I loved this book. I’m keeping it on my tbr list because I want to read it in print. The characters were so beautifully written, it felt like I knew them. Even the octopus!

Marcellus was my favorite character, quite possibly due to the fantastic casting of Michael Urie as the voice actor who narrated his chapters.

A delightfully heartwarming story about the unlikely friendship of an elderly woman and a Great Pacific Octopus. If you’re in the market for a wholesome read, this is the one!

This was a remarkably great book! I loved getting to know Marcellus, and he is clearly an exceptional octopus.
