I enjoyed the unreliability of the narrator, Hildy, and trying to piece together what had probably happened that she had forgotten.

4.5 stars; fabulous book on audio

Hilde is the best character I’ve read in quite sometime!  I love all her stories and quirks. Brilliant way to tell a story about a small town and all of the people living there by using Hilde Good’s career as a real estate agent. I loved this book! Funny, mysterious and excellent character development. 5+ stars from me.

I enjoyed this book, although it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. very well written. I found the deterioration of the main character an eye opening description of an alcoholic. The characters in the town are likeable even if you are troubled by them. the reader of the audio was very good. well worth listening to.

Not quite 3 stars. Started out liking it, but by the middle of the book, I felt like ti was all over the place.
