I’m loving these graphic novels so much. Charlie and Nick are just so darn cute! Nick is such a sweet character. You can tell he’s really caring and someone you can feel safe with. His inner confusion and turmoil is so relatable and I reiterate that it is so important for young readers out there. I love how honest he is and also how brave he is about wanting to come out. The only thing that I think it’s important to note is both Nick and Charlie have parents who are understanding and supportive in regards to their feelings and sexualities, not many people have that in real life so coming out can be especially difficult and a negative experience for some people. However I do love how a positive reaction is portrayed and can only hope that it brings more insight to those going through these themes, that there is nothing wrong with them, and that they deserve love and respect no matter their sexual preferences.

This book is just pure queer joy. Nick and Charlie are both adorable cinnamon rolls and the relationship between them is amazing. Near the end I legit giggled with tears running down my face because everything was too precious for words. I need the next volume ASAP!
