This is a great book to play a game with. The entire book is a group of people playing a Who Done It parlor game but Miss Marple shocks them all with her deep understanding of human nature. Each chapter is a new event witnessed by a character in the book and the group must figure out the resolution. It is like you are in the parlor playing the game with them.

Een verzameling van 13 korte verhalen met een hoog ‘cozy-mysterie’ gehalte. De titel geeft al weg dat Miss Marple de hoofdrol speelt bij het oplossen ervan. De verhalen zijn prima los van elkaar te lezen, maar hebben een samenhang door de personages die de mysteries inbrengen. Deze personages maken op zichzelf ook nog groei door, wat dit toch weer een knap staaltje werk maakt!
Ik heb het lezen ervan ervaren als een fijn tussendoortje, waarbij ik 13x verrast werd door het plot.
