I’m on a Tarryn Fisher quick at the moment so expect a lot more reviews to come. I really liked this and honestly I related to this book so much for someone who’s never been married.
THE WRITING as always was incredible. I get immersed in everything Tarryn writes and I don’t ever have an issue getting into one of her books.
THE CHARACTERS were honestly the highlight of this book. Satcher was adorable & ‘a man’ and Billie was an incredibly strong woman despite everything thrown at her. I hated Woods from the start but that was to be expected and I really liked how we got some different chapters from Satcher’s POV.
THE ROMANCE killed me off. Talk about slow burn. I honestly have never shipped two people together so much in my life.
This book is a fun, witty romance and I would definitely recommend for easy reading!

Should we start with the "good" or the"bad" first? Let's just start and see what happens, shall we?
F*ck Marriage is full of so much pain, love, WHAT THE FUCK!? moments, and anger that made this story realistic and believable. This one was kind of hard for me because it struck close to home. I was glued to this book for a couple of nights when I could keep my eyes open to read. This is my first Tarryn Fisher book and I'm a fan!
I felt so bad for Billie. I understood some of her internal conflicts, her anger, and her sadness. I felt for her so much. Nobody deserves to be hurt and/or treated like that by their spouse or significant other. I'm happy Billie started to find herself eventually and that the ending happened how it did. Billie was a force to be reckoned with, if only she could see that for herself.
Quite frankly I was on edge during a lot of this book! 😅
Satch. My gods. Where can I find someone like Satch? The dimples, dark hair, his honesty...He was beautiful, sweet, and has a "tough love" attitude. He is definitely one of my favorite MCs. I'm happy things worked out for him in the end.
I can't believe how many times I said "are you fucking kidding me!? Tell each other how you feel already!!!!"
Ok, now for the things that made me say "what the fuck?" And "are you kidding me?" Because they were confusing and/or frustrating.
So, things like the fact that Jules and Billie are college friends and used to hang with Woods, but Billie also said she hung with Woods and Satch from college to adulthood and even moved to NY together. So if they all knew each other. How does Jules not know that Billie knows & is friends with Satch? How does Billie not know that Satch knows & is friends with Jules? How does Satch not know Billie is friends with Jules?
Why does Jules get mad at Billie and treat her like shit? They hadn't spoken in 2 years! How the hell was Billie supposed to know Jules' old flame (that she intentionally left behind in NY) was Satch? It isn't like she could have told her "Hey, I started dating your old boyfriend. 😍 I hope it's cool with you! 😃"
I found it ridiculous how jealous Woods was of Satch loving Billie and mad at him for wanting to be with her. Woods deserved no happiness at all, he was a piece of shit through and through. Just as was Pearl. Oh Pearl. Well, Woods and Pearl were a perfect match now though, weren't they? The cheating narcissistic, big-headed, egotistical husband and the mistress that was all too eager and happy to help destroy a marriage she had no business shoving herself into. Honestly she had no business being mad at Woods for him being honest with her about Billie. It was funny though that she got upset enough to actually leave him.

This girl is stupid & doesn’t deserve Satch. Like not at all. Such a dodo bird girl…
Tarryn always manages to put my emotions through the wringer whenever I read her books, and F*ck Marriage was no different at all. I’m pretty sure I felt just about every emotion going to the point that my belly is still all tied up in knots. What a read!!
This is by far my favorite Tarryn book next to her Love Me with Lies series. This was perfect and I loved the ending so very much! I could so see myself re-reading this one and I never do that! A must read!!
well i'm undecided about this. maybe because i haven't been married so i didn't experience what the heroine is into.
This fucking book was the messiest thing I’ve ever read!! Billie needed a good dose of therapy. In fact, all the love interests needed therapy! Just a fucking mess!
This one was a disappointment to me after reading such great reviews. The main character makes such poor life choices in this contemporary fiction novel that I just couldn’t care about her or her story. She goes from being a successful blog writer to someone chasing after her ex-husband (who left her for someone he was having an affair with) and/or his friend (who is involved with HER best friend) depending on the day of the week. Sappy romance fans might enjoy this, but it wasn’t for me. 1/5 stars.
