One of the most insightful “self help” books that I’ve read. Very relatable and clear ways to action. Excited to see how this applies in my own life.

The way the author speaks of women and what they should do in relationships with abusive, neglectful men is disgusting. I appreciate the core principles of love languages, but that's it.

This book is a must read for all married or soon to be married couples. I've read it before but just listening to it again on audiobook has brought new things to light in a different time further along in my marriage. Lots to reflect on and ideas to try to strengthen marriages, whether you're at the start or a long way into your marriage journey. Ideas for those really struggling in their marriage too. You won't regret picking this up!
I listened to the audio with my husband (which I recommend all couples do). It sparked great conversation and gave us new insights. My main take-away is: study your spouse and act accordingly. I liked it better than Love and Respect, and add that to this review because I feel like the books are comparable, but this is more insightful and less simplified.
I think this book is incredibly insightful and for many can be life-changing
