All versions of the tale of Luthien and Beren gathered in one book, making it easy to compare them and to see the way Tolkien envisioned them. The story in itself is not long, but I found it fascinating to see the way it's been written and rewritten time and again.

The format alternates through versions of the story. Be prepared for classic Tolkien prose as well as rhyming verse.
